AI and Automated Content Policy

🤖 Artificial Intelligence / LLM / Automated Usage Guidelines

❌ STRICTLY PROHIBITED:

  • Automated Event Creation: Using AI agents, bots, or automated systems to programmatically create, publish, or manage events without human oversight and intervention
  • AI-Generated Event Organizers: Creating fake organizer profiles or entities run entirely by AI without a real human responsible party
  • Mass AI Content Generation: Bulk creation of events, listings, or promotional content through automated AI systems
  • Bot-Operated Accounts: Operating accounts that interact with users, respond to inquiries, or manage events purely through AI without human involvement
  • Deceptive AI Practices: Failing to disclose when content is AI-generated or presenting AI-generated content as human-created

✅ PERMITTED USES:

  • AI-Assisted Content Creation: Human organizers using AI tools to help write event descriptions, generate marketing copy, or create promotional materials
  • AI Image Generation: Using AI-generated images, graphics, or artwork for event promotion when properly attributed
  • AI Enhancement Tools: Utilizing AI for translation, grammar checking, image enhancement, or accessibility features
  • Official Odd Events AI Features: Using any AI-powered tools or features that we officially provide within our platform

💡 Our Approach: We believe AI should augment human creativity, not replace human event organizers. We're building AI tools directly into our platform to help organizers create better events faster, while maintaining the human connection that makes events special. All events must have a real, accountable human organizer behind them.

Note: We reserve the right to implement detection systems to identify and remove AI-generated events that violate this policy. Events suspected of being created by automated systems may be subject to additional verification requirements.
